Sorry about the lateness! Kelly visited the Little Mermaid on the 9th of this month. She met some of the cast members and I think she watched the show! There are also a few pictures!

Clarkson, who took home the big prize during the premiere season of American Idol and become a pop sensation with hits like “Since You’ve Been Gone,” rested her own famous pipes while watching the stars of the hit musical sing, dance and roll their way to thunderous audience approval. With the last strains of the infectious Disney show still in her head, “Miss Independent” headed under the sea (all right… backstage) to visit the cast and give them her own one-woman standing ovation. Kelly was spotted in downtown Portsmouth shopping with friends and family on Friday
PORTSMOUTH — Brandy Higgins just had “a moment like this” with Kelly Clarkson, the first winner of “American Idol.”
Higgins, owner of Mojo Boutique in the Vaughan Mall in downtown Portsmouth, said Clarkson was at the store Friday afternoon with her family and spent around $1,200 on clothing.
Clarkson won the first season of “American Idol” in 2002. She’s sold more than 19 million albums worldwide and is the most successful “Idol” alumna, with eight of her singles becoming top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100.

According to a close source who spoke to Us Weekly, the Grammy-winning pop star enjoys walking around her home in the buff, no matter the circumstances. That would include not just when close friends are around, but even when her home is “filled with strangers for photo shoots or fittings,” reports the magazine.
