Several people have questioned this “Breakaway on steriods” comment. Something on steriods is bigger and stronger. I compare it to the whole SUBG situation. When the song was presented to Kelly it was a very “bubblegum” pop song. She added heavy guitars, more drums and it became a pop/rock anthem…or…the original song on steriods. Is that a good enough analogy to explain what it might mean? Imagine bigger and more power.

As far as more information. I feel a bit afraid that by giving a possible date…they might change it. I feel as if I mention a song that might be on the album…they might take it off. I feel that we as a community need to respect the privacy this time around because so many people come here for information, and then they take it and twist it and put it on blogs with questionable reputations…but thousands of readers. We are here because of our love for Kelly…however…by posting too much information we could harm her as well. I’m not going to take that chance.

All that being said…there’s nothing that I feel can be harmed with this information…and y’all are desperate for something. All of you who love “Close Your Eyes” from the leaked demos…sorry…it will not be on the new album. Don’t expect that type of sound this time around. (And don’t think that I’m sitting here with a wealth of information that I’m keeping to myself…I’m not).

The new single is scheduled for end of october/beginning of november here in Germany. The German radiostations will start playing the song in the middle of october. Guess the people in the USA will get it earlier. Like baileyblu (KCE) said: in the next couple weeks.

USA & Rest of the World - November 18, 2008

I dont have any information like if countries like the netherlands, belgium and so on will get it on the same day like germany, or on november 18, as well…

Kelly Clarkson did a Question + Answer with Kelly’s official German Fanclub (kellyclarksonfanclub.de) and Kelly said that her and Jason ? have written an “amazing” song called Cry and will be on the album. I’m not surpose to copy the Q&A but it doesn’t say that I can’t borrow and small snippet out of it =)

Just found this while surfin for Kelly news. Multipul sources have said that Kelly will be releasing her album before christmas so, yay =)

She also dug up this item from EW from last week noting that besides Kristy Lee Cook and the two Davids, Kelly Clarkson is set for a new album before Christmas. No confirmation it will have a country twang but we’d all put money on that.

Ryan Tedder was recently on Jojo’s Show of KIISfm and she managed to get a question in about Kellys album.

Jojo: “Before I forget to ask…in the studio with Kelly Clarkson. What’s the news there?
Ryan: “Maaaan, it’s..she’s gonna have..I mean, I’m a little biased, cause I’m workin’ on it, but, I think she’s gonna have the best album yet.”
Jojo: “Nice!”

NOTHING NEW JUST INTERESTING: A fellow Expresser found a from an Australian radio station, that interviews Ryan Tedder on 27th March 08. It may be from along time ago but its new to us. Ryan says he’s going to be doing a lot of ROCK oriented stuff with Kelly, and they’ve traded “SONGS” back and forth through e-mail.

I think this means that Kelly’s hoping to release her new album. Shouldn’t we be getting a album title by now?

Adding to the pileup, Kelly Clarkson is also hoping her fourth effort, which she’s been working on in various locales, including Australia, will see a pre-Christmas bow.
